Open Post-doc Position: Entity-Aware Content Authoring For the Semantic Web
For its participation in OKKAM, Elsevier seeks applicants for a post-doctoral position for the development of an Entity-Centric Media Authoring Environment (ECAE) to enable the creation of new content/knowledge objects using “OKKAMized” repositories and the creation/reuse of OKKAM entities. The ECAE will be evaluated in two main domains: news agencies (to support the news life cycle) and digital libraries (to support the scholarly content life cycle). The Elsevier PostDoc will be responsible for the development and coordination of the second domain use case, and will work closely together with the University of Trento, the Italian news agency ANSA, and Expert Systems s.p.a. in Rome.
